• In 2009-10, Archibald’s 28 assists and 33 points (5-28--33) ranked third on the team among defenseman improving significantly on the eight points (0-8--8) he registered in his rookie year.

• He represented the U.S. at the 2009 Under-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and played alongside Greyhound teammate Brock Beukeboom (No. 41 ranked) at the 2010 CHL Top Prospects Game.

• Archibald wears the number three because it is the number he started wearing when he played for in the Detroit Honeybaked system and he’s also a fan of Dion Phaneuf’s style of play.

• He got his start in hockey at age four playing on his first hockey team, the Port Huran Royals, and his most memorable hockey moment was being named an All-Star and winning the Silver Stick hockey tournament playing in front of his home town.
