• Drafted 14th overall by the Calgary Hitmen in 2007, Madaisky was traded from Calgary 39 games into the 2009-10 season. He finished the year on a high note in Kamloops – he led the Blazers with three goals in the playoffs (3-3--6) before they were knocked out by the Vancouver Giants in four games.

• Madaisky participated in the 2010 CHL Top Prospects Game and was a member of Team Pacific at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2009.

• He played for the Burnaby Winter Club (BWC), who won the Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship. He had 17 goals and 67 points in 65 games -- Kevin Sundher (No. 67 ranked), Madaisky’s neighbour and long-time teammate, was also a part of the championship team.

• His first hockey team was the Cloverdale Colts and his hockey idol growing up was Peter Forsberg because of his “dynamic style”.
