  • Led all rookies in scoring with 67 points (24-43--67) and finished second overall on his team in points in his first season with Chicoutimi.
  • Selected to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team and was named Best Defensive Player in the QMJHL. 
  • Was named the QMJHL Rookie of the Month twice in 2007-08 – in November and then again in January.
  • Named to Team Canada for the 2008 IIHF Under-18 World Championships.
  • Participated in the 2008 CHL Top Prospects Game.
  • Represented Team Quebec at the 2007 Canada Winter Games.
  • He began skating at the age of three and his first hockey team was the Delson Senators Mag.
  • He played Pee-Wee and Bantam AA with the Dynamique CCL and Midget AA with the Riverains CCL.
  • Credits his brother, Simon, for having the most influence on his career – “he played hockey too and he was an inspiration for me” – his brother played the last four years in Junior AAA with Granby.
  • If he wasn’t playing hockey he would become a police officer and his most embarrassing hockey moment is stepping on the ice with his skate guards on.
