• Turcotte, a University of Wisconsin commit for 2019, averaged 1.68 points per game this season with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program’s Under-18 Team (27-35—62 in 37 GP).

• He helped Team USA capture gold at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (3-3—6 in 6 GP), silver at the 2018 Under-18 World Championship (2-3—5 in 7 GP), and bronze at the 2019 Under-18 World Championship (4-5—9 in 7 GP).

• Turcotte can become the sixth Illinois-born NHL player chosen in the first round of the NHL Draft; he would join Lee Fogolin Jr. (No. 11 in 1974), Eddie Olczyk (No. 3 in 1984), Nikos Tselios (No. 22 in 1997), John Moore (No. 21 in 2009) and Stefan Matteau (No. 29 in 2012).

• His father, Alfie Turcotte, was selected by the Canadiens with the 17th overall pick in the 1983 NHL Draft and collected 46 points across 112 career games with Montreal, Winnipeg and Washington from 1983-84 to 1990-91 (17-29—46).
