• Noel’s breakout 2017-18 campaign saw him collect 28-25—53 in 62 games with Oshawa, trailing only Kenny Huether (30) for the team lead in goals. He scored his first career OHL hat trick on Sept. 23 in a 7-4 victory at Sault Ste. Marie as the Generals handed the Greyhounds their only regulation home loss of the season.

• Internationally, he represented Canada at the 2018 Under-18 World Championship (2-4—6 in 5 GP) and was a member of their gold medal-winning entry at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (1-0—1 in 4 GP).

• His father, Dean Noel, spent parts of five seasons in the Canadian Football League as a running back with the Ottawa Rough Riders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

• Models his style of play after Panthers forward Nick Bjugstad.
