• Morand ranked second on Acadie-Bathurst with 28-46—74 in 2016-17 (67 GP) and added 2-10—12 in 11 postseason contests.

• Morand collected 1-1—2 to help Team Cherry earn a 7-5 win at the 2017 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

• After being drafted second overall by Acadie-Bathurst in the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft, Morand was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team after posting 14-36—50 in the 2015-16 regular season (48 GP) and 0-3—3 in the playoffs (5 GP).

• While skating with the Chateauguay Grenadiers in 2014-15, Morand averaged more than a point per game in both the regular season (18-37—55 in 41 GP) and playoffs (12-18—30 in 16 GP) to help the club to a Quebec Midget AAA championship and a Telus Cup silver medal.

• Internationally, Morand skated with Canada Red at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (3-3—6 in 6 GP).
