• In 2015-16, the puck-moving defenseman registered 3-26—29 in 53 contests for the United States National Team Development Program’s Under-18 squad.

• Competed with both the Under-18 (3-17—20 in 22 GP) and the Under-17 (3-26—29 in 41 GP) teams during the 2014-15 season, earning USHL All-Rookie Second Team honors.

• The Philadelphia, Pa. native was part of the United States’ bronze medal entry at the 2016 World Junior Championship and also represented his country twice at the Under-18 World Championship, earning a bronze medal as an alternate captain in 2016 (0-3—3 in 7 GP) and a gold medal in 2015 (1-4—5 in 7 GP).

• Krys also represented the United States’ silver-medal finish at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (0-7—7 in 6 GP), where he led all tournament skaters in assists and all defensemen in points.

• He is committed to Boston University for the 2016-17 season. His father, Mark Krys, served as captain of the Terriers in the 1990-91 season.
