• Visentin was drafted in the third round (54th overall) in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection.

• He was a member of gold medal winning Team Ontario at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2009 and Team Orr at the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Top Prospects Game.

• He started playing hockey because his father built a backyard rink each winter and his childhood hockey idol was Curtis Joseph.
