• Sogaard was named to the WHL East Second All-Star Team in his first season with the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers after ranking sixth in the league and first among rookies with a .921 save percentage.

• A native of Aalborg, Denmark, Sogaard has represented his country on numerous occasions internationally – most recently at the 2019 World Junior Championship and in Denmark’s bronze medal-winning entry at the 2018 Under-18 World Championship – Division 1 Group A.

• He can become the second Danish-born goaltender to appear in an NHL game joining Maple Leafs netminder Frederik Andersen (Herning, Denmark).

• Models his style of play after Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk.
