• After just 15 appearances in his rookie season of 2017-18, Jones took the bulk of the work in net for the Peterborough Petes in 2018-19 recording a 28-24-4 record with a 3.31 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and three shutouts. Only one goaltender in the OHL made more appearances in 2018-19 than Jones’ 57: Niagara’s Stephen Dhillon (58 GP).

• Jones was a member of the Canada Black team that earned a silver medal at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1 GP).
