• He joined Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury as one of seven netminders in the history of the QMJHL to collect at least six regular-season overtime wins over the span of their junior hockey career. Teammate Kyle Jessiman holds the QMJHL all-time record with seven such victories from 2015-18.

• Mandolese turned aside 18 of 20 shots for Team Orr in 30:10 of action at the 2018 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
