• Chinakhov spent the majority of the 2018-19 season skating for Omsk Yastreby in Russia’s junior league where the forward produced 8-8—16 in 37 games.

• Internationally, Chinakhov was part of Team Russia’s bronze medal entry at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup (1-2—3 in 5 GP) and helped his country earn silver at the 2019 Under-18 World Championship (2-1—3 in 7 GP).

• His father, Vitali Chinakhov, was an 11th round selection of the Rangers in 1991 (235th overall) and had a 16-season pro career in Russia from 1988-89 to 2005-06.
