• Necas registered 7-8—15 in 41 games during the 2016-17 regular season and 4-0—4 in 10 playoff contests to help HC Kometa Brno win the franchise’s first championship in the Czech Republic’s top league.

• As a member of the HC Kometa Brno Under-18 club in 2015-16, Necas collected 9-21—30 in the regular season (18 GP) and 4-11—15 in the playoffs (10 GP) en route to a Czech under-18 championship.

• Necas led the Czech under-16 league in assists and points with 32-59—91 in 34 games during the 2014-15 season.

• Internationally, Necas represented the Czech Republic at the 2017 World Junior Championship (1-2—3 in 5 GP) and the 2016 Under-18 World Championship (0-3—3 in 5 GP). He also served as captain at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (2-4—6 in 4 GP), helping the Czech Republic win their first gold medal at the tournament.
