• In 2010-11, he recorded 18 points (7-11-18) in 28 games as a freshman helping the Pioneers to a 25-12-15 record, their 10th consecutive 20-win season, earning a trip to the Midwest Regional final.

• Shore played alongside his older brother, Drew (selected 44th overall in 2009 by Florida), at the University of Denver. They both played in the U.S. National Team Development Program in 2008-09, becoming the first set of siblings to be in the program at the same time -- their younger brother Quentin joined the program this fall.

• He tied for the team lead with 10 points (3-7--10) helping the U.S. win gold at the 2010 World Under-18 Championships.

• Shore played midget hockey for the Colorado Thunderbirds and won a Peewee National Championship with Littleton.
