• Poirier recorded four goals and three assists in six games to lead the 13th-ranked Olympiques to a first-round upset of the fourth-ranked Rimouski Oceanic. He finished the 2013 QMJHL playoffs with 10 points in 10 games (6-4--10).

• In 2012-13, Poirier led Gatineau in goals (32), assists (38) and points (70), averaging 1.08 points per game and improving his plus-minus rating to even, up from minus-17 in 2011-12.
