• In 2011-12, Harper finished third on the Otters, and second among rookies, with 35 points in 63 games (24-11--35). His 24 goals also led all 16-year-old players in the OHL. Harper was selected as Erie’s Rookie of the Year for his efforts.

• He won a bronze medal with Team Ontario at the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, scoring two goals in five games.

• A Burlington minor hockey product, Harper recorded a team-leading 38 goals and 24 assists in 55 games with the Eagles minor midget team in 2010-11.
