• In 2012-13, Carrier led his team in scoring with 42 points (16-26--42) despite only playing 34 games due to injury. An assistant captain in his third year with the Screaming Eagles, he was his team’s lone representative at the 2012 CHL Canada-Russia Super Series.
• Carrier finished second on the team in scoring with 70 points (27-43--70) in 66 games in 2011-12.
• He won bronze with Team Canada at the 2012 Under-18 World Championship and scored five points (2-3--5) in six games to help Team Quebec win bronze at the 2011 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge.
• A Pierrefonds minor hockey product, the best gift he has ever received is a signed jersey by Maurice Richard, his childhood hockey idol.

You forget how good [Nieuwendyk] was. You hear the points and stuff and you almost forget until they kind of walk you through his career, and that was really cool for me. I might have felt it a little more than some of the other guys because he was one of my favorites growing up, but that was very cool and I'm honored to have been a part of it.
