• In 12 playoff games, Glennie helped the Brandon Wheat Kings reach the Western Hockey League Conference Final against the Calgary Hitmen, finishing tied for fourth in assists (15) and tied for ninth overall in points (18).

• He led the Brandon with a 1.27 points-per-game average, totaling 70 points (28-42-70) in 55 games in 2008-09. Nine of his 28 goals were game-winners, placing him third in the WHL.

• Representing Canada for the first time at the 2008 Ivan Hlinka Memorial, he recorded three points (2-1--3) in four games, helping Canada win gold. Also participated in the 2008 World Under-17 Challenge, winning bronze as a member of Team West.

• Glennie finished fifth in rookie scoring with 58 points (26-32--58) in 2007-08, after teaming up with fellow rookie linemates Brayden Schenn (No. 4 ranked) and Matt Calvert (selected by Columbus, 127th overall in 2008) as one of the highest rookie scoring lines in recent WHL history (193 combined points).

• Prior to playing for the Brandon Wheat Kings, he scored 31 goals in 38 games with the Winnipeg Wild Midget AAA and was named to the league all-star team as well as selected as the team MVP.

• His older brother, Donnie, played in the WHL for Tri-City (2005-06) and Chilliwack (2006-07).

• Glennie began skating at the age of three and played his first year of hockey with the Varsity View Falcons at the age of four. He also played minor hockey for the Assiniboine Park Rangers, Winnipeg Monarchs and the Winnipeg Wild.

• His childhood hockey hero was Mario Lemieux – “he was fun to watch and one of the greatest players of all time” and he credits his family as having the biggest influence on his career for helping him develop his passion.

• Quiznos is part of his pre-game ritual for home games and winning the Under-18 Ivan Hlinka tournament in Slovakia is his most memorable hockey moment.
