• Gallimore registered 53 points (26-27-53) in 71 games in 2008-09, his first full season in the WHL. Acquired in 2007-08 from the Spokane Chiefs, he played a large role in helping the Blades capture their first East Division banner in 15 years.

• An Edmonton, Alberta native, he played his minor hockey close to home, for the Canadian Athletic Club, Whitemud West and the Knights of Columbus, after getting his start in hockey at the age of five.

• He patterns his game after Boston forward Phil Kessel and his most embarrassing hockey moment was wearing his jersey backwards for the warm-up in Bantam.

• Away from the rink, Gallimore can often be found playing video games and is ranked in the top 100 in the world at Call of Duty 4.
