• Florek finished his first season with the Wildcats with 17 points (9-8-17) and a plus-19 rating in 40 games in 2008-09. He has been invited to the 2009 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid for a potential roster spot at the 2010 World Junior Championships.
