• Played at Harvard in 2009-10 alongside his older brothers Alex (’09) and Michael (’08). The Biega brothers are the second set of three brothers to play for Harvard in the same season – Mark ('00), Steve ('01) and Dominic Moore (‘03) all competed for the Crimson in 1999-2000.

• Biega’s oldest brother, Alex, was drafted 147th overall by Buffalo in 2006 and his youngest, Marc, plays midget AAA hockey for the Lac St.Louis Lions in Quebec.

• Before Harvard, Biega captained Salisbury School to a 2009 New England Prep School Championship -- he was also named Defenseman of the Year and to the New England Prep All-Star team.

• He first started playing hockey at the age of five with his brothers outdoors. His father, Peter, built a back-yard rink for the four boys that eventually expanded 60 feet by 60 feet before the boys out grew it and began to play on the lake near by.
