• Cozens ranked second on the Lethbridge Hurricanes and tied for 10th in the WHL in 2018-19 with 34-50—84 in 68 GP.

• A native of Whitehorse in Canada’s Yukon Territory, he can become just the third player born in the Yukon to play in an NHL game, joining Peter Sturgeon (6 GP from 1979-81) and Bryon Baltimore (2 GP in 1979-80). Additionally, he can become the first player born in the Yukon selected in the first round of the NHL Draft. The only Yukon-born players drafted by an NHL team are Whitehorse natives Sturgeon (36th overall in 1974 by Boston) and Bobby House (66th overall in 1991 by Chicago).

• Named WHL Rookie of the Year in 2017-18 after leading all rookies in goals and finishing second in rookie scoring with 22-31—53 in 57 GP.

• Cozens recorded a pair of assists in a 6-2 win over Sweden in the gold medal game of the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup to help Team Canada capture the championship. He finished the tournament with 2-3—5 in 5 GP. He also served as an alternate captain for Team Canada at the 2019 Under-18 World Championship where he collected 4-5—9 in 7 GP.
