• Wilde was the top point-producing defenseman on the U.S. Under-18 Team in 2017-18, leading all blueliners in goals (12) and points (41). His 12 goals were the most by a defenseman in the National Team Development Program since Justin Faulk also tallied 12 in 2009-10.

• Internationally, Wilde led all defensemen in scoring at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (2-4—6 in 5 GP) and earned a silver medal with Team USA at the 2018 Under-18 World Championship.

• Wilde’s parents were ski instructors but he chose to focus on hockey over skiing at a young age. His favorite player growing up was Alex Kovalev, then of the Canadiens, when his family lived in Montreal while he was young.

• Models his style of play after Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson.
