• O’ Reilly tied for second in goals and ranked eighth in points among USHL rookies with 21-13—34 in 45 games with the Madison Capitals in 2017-18. He capped his impressive rookie campaign by earning USHL All-Rookie Second Team honors.

• He played minor hockey in Texas including two seasons with the Dallas Stars under-16 team, where he captained the club and led the league in goals during the 2016-17 season (23-8—31 in 26 games).

• His brother, Brendan O’Reilly, skated for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL in 2017-18.

• Has committed to the University of Denver for the 2018-19 season.

• A big, strong scorer who models his style of play after Senators forward Bobby Ryan.
