• Jenkins was named to the 2017-18 OHL First All-Rookie Team after posting 20-24—44 in the regular season (68 GP) and 0-3—3 in the playoffs (4 GP). His 44 points ranked tied for fifth among OHL rookies and his 20 goals were tied for fourth among first-year skaters.

• He has represented his country internationally at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial.

• His father, Todd Jenkins, played four seasons with the University of Maine from 1985-89 and two years with the Nashville Knights of the ECHL from 1989-91.

• Models his style of play after Stars forward Jamie Benn.
