• Thomas finished third in Knights scoring with 16-50—66 during the 2016-17 regular season (66 GP), highlighted by a five-point effort (2-3—5) vs. the Flint Firebirds on Dec. 4, 2016. He went on to add 7-5—12 in 14 games during the playoffs, tied for second-most on the Knights before they fell to Erie in the Second Round.

• Thomas was a member of London’s OHL and Memorial Cup Championship team in 2015-16 – his rookie season with the club.

• In 2014-15, Thomas served as an alternate captain with the York-Simcoe Express of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, registering 18-27—45 in 34 games. Additionally that year, he represented OMHA White during the OHL Gold Cup (4-2—6 in 5 GP).

• Internationally, Thomas was a member of Canada White’s gold medal-winning entry at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

• Compares his style of play to Kings forward Anze Kopitar and Predators forward Mike Fisher.
