• Tippett led the Steelheads in goals and points – and finished fifth in the OHL in goals – with 44-31—75 in 60 games in 2016-17. He added 10-9—19 in 20 postseason contests before Mississauga fell to Erie in the OHL Championship Series.

• Drafted fourth overall by Mississauga in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Tippett was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team in 2015-16 after collecting 15-5—20 in 48 regular-season games and 1-2—3 in seven postseason contests.

• Internationally, Tippett served as an alternate captain for Canada at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (1-1—2 in 4 GP). Tippett also was a member of Canada’s fourth-place entry at the 2016 Under-18 World Championship (1-2—3 in 7 GP) and helped Canada White to a gold medal at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (5-3—8 in 6 GP).
