• Walsh was an alternate captain with Proctor Academy during the 2016-17 season while averaging over two points per game (30-39—69 in 30 GP). He also spent time with the Clark Cup-champion Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (2-8—10 in 24 GP).

• The Andover, New Hampshire native was named to the United States High School All-USA Hockey Second Team at the conclusion of the 2016-17 season.

• Internationally, Walsh skated in four games with Team USA en route to a silver medal at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial.

• His father, Mike, skated in 14 games with the Islanders from 1987-89.

• Walsh has committed to Harvard University for the 2017-18 season.

• Models his style of play after Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith.
