• Rathbone captained Dexter School while playing high school hockey in Massachusetts in 2016-17 where he led the team in assists and points with 16-19—35 in 22 games.

• The West Roxbury, Mass. native was named to the United States High School All-USA Hockey First Team at the conclusion of the 2016-17 regular season.

• His father, Jason, was selected 121st overall by the New York Islanders in the 1988 NHL Draft.

• Rathbone has committed to Harvard University for the 2018-19 season.

• Models his style of play after Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith and Penguins blueliner Kris Letang.
