• Anderson was named to the USHL Second All-Star Team after leading Black Hawks defensemen with 5-29—34 in the 2016-17 regular season (54 GP). He added 2-1—3 in the playoffs (8 GP).

• Anderson was named to the USHL All-Rookie Second Team in 2015-16 after registering 1-15—16 in the regular season (57 GP) and 3-2—5 in the playoffs (9 GP).

• Internationally, the Roseville, Minn. native won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2016 World Junior A Challenge (5 GP) and also represented his country at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (4 GP).

• Anderson has committed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth for the 2017-18 season. His older brother, Joseph, spent the 2016-17 season with Minnesota-Duluth after being drafted by the Devils in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.

• Models his style of play after Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh.
