RALEIGH, N.C. -- After travelling from Philadelphia following their 2-1 win against the Flyers, the Panthers opted not to practice today.
For the Hurricanes, they'll get defenseman Joni Pitkanen back in the lineup after a 44-game absence. He suffered a concussion in early December and then had knee surgery in January. He has 3 goals and 9 assists in 21 games for Carolina this season.
