At 11:30 of the second period in the Canucks/Devils game, video review upheld the referee's call on the ice that the puck deflected off David Clarkson's skate and entered the net in a legal fashion. Good goal New Jersey.
According to rule 49.2 "A puck that deflects into the net off an attacking player's skate who does not use a distinct kicking motion is a legitimate goal."
There was a lot of talk off the ice. From a player's standpoint, that's not the talk in the room. GMs make decisions, coaches make decisions, but as a team you have to come together and be ready to go, and we are.
