Hanzal back in Phoenix starting lineup
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Phoenix Coyotes center Martin Hanzal, who has missed the last 12 games due to an upper body injury, is back in the starting lineup tonight as they take on the Detroit Red Wings.

The Coyotes were 3-5-4 in the 12 games without Hanzal. who will start the game between wingers Taylor Pyatt and Mikkel Boedker. Hanzal hasn't played since being hit in the head with a stick in a Dec. 23 home loss to the St. Louis Blues. Hanzal accompanied the team to Anaheim on Wednesday but returned to Phoenix to be present for the birth of his first child.

Marc-Antonie Pouliot, who had two assists in eight games filling Hanzal's center spot, was a healthy scratch.
Quote of the Day

Philadelphia is where I started my NHL career and this is where I want to be so I am really happy. This definitely gives me a lot of confidence by the Flyers showing that they have confidence in me. I know they want to see me get better as a player and this is the place to do it.

— Zac Rinaldo to the Flyers website on signing a two-year contract extension with Philadelphia
