Komarov plays on a line with Nazem Kadri ($5,300), a strong possession player who racks up shots on goal, and each has a point per game or better in their past 10 games. He has multiple shots on goal and multiple blocked shots in two of his past three games, and has nine goals in 17 home games this season (T-20th in NHL). He had two assists, two blocks and three SOG earlier this season against the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 5.
Jarome Iginla, W, Colorado Avalanche
DraftKings price: $4,600
Iginla is on milestone alert heading into Saturday; he's one goal away from the 600th of his NHL career, and it could come against the Calgary Flames, his former team. Nostalgia aside, he's picked up his game since being moved to a line with Nathan MacKinnon ($6,700) and Alex Tanguay ($3,500) after the NHL Christmas break, with two power-play points, three blocks and 10 SOG in three games. Considering Iginla is tied for 34th among wings in DraftKings price, why not work him into your lineup as a third wing or FLEX option?
Kris Letang, D, Pittsburgh Penguins
DraftKings price: $5,800
Since Letang returned from injury, he has two multipoint outings in four games, each coming on the road, where he struggled to start the season. He returns to Consol Energy Center, where he has 12 points in 14 games with 21 blocked shots and 48 SOG (3.4 per game) and faces a familiar foe: the New York Islanders and former Pittsburgh backup Thomas Greiss. Tied for 10th at his position in price, Letang gives your roster $2,300 of salary cap relief compared to Brent Burns ($8,100) and $1,300 compared to Roman Josi ($7,100).
Eddie Lack, G, Carolina Hurricanes
DraftKings price: $6,600
There are some strong goalie value options out there (i.e. Antti Niemi of Dallas Stars for $7,100, Martin Jones of San Jose Sharks for $6,900), but Lack's recent success has gone relatively unnoticed. He's won four of his past five games, with three wins on the road against the Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks. He allowed two goals on 32 shots faced in his last outing to snap the Washington Capitals' nine-game win streak. Lack, confirmed for Saturday against the road-weary Nashville Predators (6-8-4), is $1,800 cheaper than the most expensive player at his position and could be overlooked in DFS on this busy night.
