Gibson, Weber and Cammalleri named stars of week
Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson, Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber and New Jersey Devils left wing Mike Cammalleri have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending Dec. 6.

Board of Governors to talk expansion, rule changes
Potential expansion to Las Vegas and Quebec City will be discussed at the NHL Board of Governors meeting this week in Pebble Beach, Calif. However, there will be no vote at the meeting, according to NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly.

Predators' penalty kill to get big challenge from Bruins
The Nashville Predators' penalty kill will face a stiff test Monday against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. The Predators, who are 28th in the NHL in penalty kill at 75.0 percent, have allowed seven goals in 14 shorthanded situations in the past five games. The Bruins' power play is No. 1 in the League at 30.6 percent.

Wild goaltender Dubnyk has mild groin strain
Minnesota Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk has a mild groin strain and will not play Monday against the Colorado Avalanche, coach Mike Yeo said Sunday.

Blackhawks' Daley day-to-day with upper-body injury
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Trevor Daley has an upper-body injury and will not play against the Nashville Predators at United Center on Tuesday.
