DraftKings daily fantasy value picks for Nov. 5

Players accumulate points in DraftKings for each goal (3 points), assist (2), shot on goal (0.5), blocked shot (0.5) and shootout goal (0.2). Bonuses are given for shorthanded points (1) and hat tricks (1.5). Goalies accumulate points for each win (3) and save (0.2), and lose a point for each goal allowed. Goalie bonuses are given for a shutout (2) where the goalie completes the entire game with no goals allowed in regulation (and overtime, if applicable). Shootout goals will not prevent a shutout, and goalies will receive points for any goals or assists they score in a game. Penalty minutes, hits, plus-minus and PP points DO NOT count in DraftKings. DraftKings lineups must include nine players (2 C, 3 W, 2 D, 1 G, 1 FLEX) and fit within the $50,000 salary cap.

David Krejci, C, Boston Bruins

DraftKings price: $5,800

Not only is Krejci averaging the most fantasy points per game among centers (5.2), but he had a nine-game point streak to start the season. His seven goals are tied for seventh in the NHL and his 15 points are sixth. He has had more than five DraftKings points in seven of 11 games. Krejci also averages 2.9 shots on goal per game. Krejci plays against the Washington Capitals on Thursday; he has 18 points in 27 career games against them. And he's $2,400 less than the most expensive center available Thursday, John Tavares of the New York Islanders.

Jarome Iginla, W, Colorado Avalanche

DraftKings price: $5,300

The 38-year-old forward has shown no signs of slowing down. He has six goals and 11 points in 12 games, including three goals in his past two games. Iginla faces an Arizona Coyotes team Thursday which has given up 2.91 goals per game. He also has done well against the Coyotes in his career, with 38 goals and 64 points in 66 games; the 38 goals are tied for his most against any opponent. Iginla has developed chemistry with Nathan MacKinnon and Alex Tanguay, and has been somewhat of an offensive surprise.

Mark Streit, D, Philadelphia Flyers

DraftKings price: $4,800

The price isn't extremely low, but Streit will give you a good return for your investment. He has three goals and seven points in 12 games, but also helps in shots on goal (28) and blocked shots (21). Streit hasn't scored in the past two games but has had four shots on goal and five blocked shots; when he can't score, he at least chips in with contributions in those categories. He's a big part of the Flyers' power play and Thursday plays a Calgary Flames team which has allowed 55 non-shootout goals, the most in the League. Logic says Streit has a decent chance for points against a team with a minus-25 goal differential that allows 4.23 goals per game.

Linus Ullmark, G, Buffalo Sabres

DraftKings price: $6,100

I wrote about Ullmark today in my fantasy goalie piece, and like his chances Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost five of six games (1-4-1) while scoring seven goals. This will be his third straight start; in his previous two games he's 2-0-0 while stopping 56 of 58 shots. The Sabres are at home, which should work in Ullmark's favor, and he's gotten better in each start. He's also tied with Mike Smith of the Coyotes with the cheapest price among goalies Thursday, so you can't go wrong here.
