Panthers' Smith, Bruins' Hayes face old team; Jagr 'probably out'
Forwards Reilly Smith and Jimmy Hayes are off to good starts with their new team, and they'll face off Friday for the first time since being traded when the Panthers host the Bruins. Jaromir Jagr likely will not play for Florida because of a lower-body injury.

Flames goaltender Hiller to miss at least a week
Calgary Flames goaltender Jonas Hiller will miss at least a week because of a lower-body injury. Hiller is 2-3-0 with a 3.67 goals-against average and .861 save percentage in seven games.

Sabres' Ennis out, Foligno on top line against Flyers
With Buffalo Sabres forward Tyler Ennis out for the second straigt game, Marcus Foligno will play on the top line Friday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Maple Leafs get Bozak, Gardiner back vs. Rangers
Toronto Maple Leafs center Tyler Bozak and defensemen Jake Gardiner will return to the lineup against the New York Rangers on Friday. Bozak missed the past four games with a lower-body injury and Gardiner missed three games with an upper-body injury.

Vermette returns to Coyotes lineup against Canucks
The Arizona Coyotes will have center Antoine Vermette back in the lineup Friday against the Vancouver Canucks. Vermette, who missed the past three games with a lower-body injury, took part in the morning skate, centering a line with Tobias Rieder and Anthony Duclair.

Blue Jackets' Johansen in, Saad out against Capitals
Columbus Blue Jackets center Ryan Johansen will return to the lineup Friday against the Washington Capitals, but teammate Brandon Saad will be out.
