Lincoln teammates Jozefek, Evers honored by USHL

Three players eligible for the 2016 NHL Draft, including two members of the Lincoln Stars, were honored by the United States Hockey League on Monday.

Lincoln's Grant Jozefek was named co-forward of the week. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound forward had one goal and three assists in two games. He has at least one point in the Stars' five games and his nine points are tied for the league scoring lead.

Jozefek's teammate, Christian Evers, was named defenseman of the week. The 6-2, 210-pound defender had four assists in Lincoln's 4-1 win at Dubuque. His five points in five games is tied for the lead among USHL defenders.

The Madison Capitols' Ryan Edquist was named goaltender of the week after he had a 40-save shutout Saturday at Muskegon that included 20 saves in the third period.
