After missing 5 games with a groin injury, Ilya Kovalchuk will be in the New Jersey Devils lineup when they take on the Sabres in Buffalo tonight.
Kovalchuk suffered the injury on Nov. 3 against the Flyers. Mattias Tedenby will come out of the lineup as a healthy scratch.
"It's nice to be back," Kovalchuk told Tom Gulitti of the Bergen Record. "It's a big game for us. We have to beat the teams ahead of us in the standings."
