Seabrook brings Cup home to Tsawwassen, B.C.

For the third time in the past five years, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Tsawwassen, British Columbia.

Seabrook and his family boarded a Zamboni in the morning for a ride through the local streets to the South Delta Recreation Centre, where the Cup was available for public viewing and photographs with fans, and later took to the skies for a helicopter tour of nearby Vancouver.

Seabrook grew up in Tsawwassen playing for the South Delta Minor Hockey Association. He won the Cup for the third time in June when the Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games.

Seabrook scored seven goals in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs to break Chris Chelios' Blackhawks record for goals by a defenseman in a single postseason. He has 71 goals and 318 points in 763 NHL games.
