Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brian Boyle will not play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final against the New York Rangers on Saturday (1 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVA Sports) because of an unspecified injury.
Boyle is day-to-day, according to the Lightning.
Boyle, who played five seasons for the Rangers before signing with the Lightning last summer, played all 82 regular-season games and had 15 goals and nine assists. He has one goal and one assist in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
