CALGARY -- Calgary Flames forwards Lance Bouma (upper body) and Micheal Ferland (undisclosed) each will be a game-time decision for Game 4 of the Western Conference Second Round series against the Anaheim Ducks at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday (9:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVA Sports).

Bouma participated in line rushes with Matt Stajan and David Jones at the morning skate, and Ferland skated on Calgary's extra line with Drew Shore and Markus Granlund.

"Everyone is a game-time decision," Calgary coach Bob Hartley said. "This afternoon we will sit with our medical staff and we're going to go through all of our injuries like we always do. Nothing is changing. We have a few options."

Ferland was injured in the first period of Game 1 against the Ducks. He was hit high after Jones checked Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen into him behind the net; he also collided with Anaheim defenseman Francois Beauchemin at the boards later in the period.

Ferland has been a game-time decision for the past two games but has not returned to the lineup.

"It's the same thing every day, I'm just anxious to get out there," Ferland said. "I feel good. I'm ready to play. It's just going to come down to the coaches and the medical staff. I'm going to go about my day like I'm going to be playing tonight and hopefully I am."

Ferland's 42 hits lead the Flames in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Bouma, who sustained an injury blocking a shot in the Flames' 3-2 win against the Arizona Coyotes on April 7, led Calgary with 264 hits in the regular season and was first among forwards with 82 blocked shots. He has not played in the postseason.

"I feel good," Bouma said. "I feel like I'm ready. I've been ready for four weeks, so here we go. If I get tapped I'm excited for sure. It's what you play for all year, to play in the playoffs, so we'll see what happens."

The return of Bouma or Ferland, or both, could spark the Flames against the physical Ducks.

"We know the type of players they are and we know the type of presence they provide," forward Brandon Bollig said. "It's going to be huge for our team, it's uplifting. We know those guys are passionate players, we know they lay it all on the line, and that's exactly what our team needs.

"We've been playing great, and if those two guys get back in, it's an even bigger boost for our team, not only physically but mentally. They're out there laying it all out on the line for us."
