Ducks forward Perry feeling OK after Game 5 injury

Anaheim Ducks right wing Corey Perry is OK after a right leg injury sustained Sunday in Game 5 of the Western Conference Second Round against the Calgary Flames, Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said Monday.

"He's fine," Boudreau said. "He's obviously a little sore but no worse for wear."

Perry, who leads the Stanley Cup Playoffs with 15 points, collided with Calgary Flames forward Matt Stajan with 4:11 remaining in the second period. He hobbled to the bench and was helped to the trainer's room but returned in the third period and scored the series-clinching goal in overtime.

Perry did not have further testing Monday, a Ducks spokesman said. The Ducks did not practice.

"Didn't feel great when it happened," Perry said Sunday. "I didn't know what was going on. It calmed down after a few minutes and I started walking around. You do anything to come back and help the team win at any point in the season, especially the playoffs."

The Ducks are in the Western Conference Final for the first time since 2007; they will play the Chicago Blackhawks.
