The second game of the series will be Saturday; a third game, if necessary, will be Sunday. All three games will be at Agganis.
Eichel, No. 2 on NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of the top North American skaters eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft, leads all NCAA players with 37 assists, 55 points and a plus-36 rating in 32 games.
He has the most points by a Boston University player in the past 17 years, matching Nashville Predators forward Colin Wilson (55 points in 2008-09). The 18-year-old right-shot center needs one more point to have the most by a Terrier since Chris Drury had 57 points as a senior in 1997-98.
Eichel has seven goals and 28 points at Agganis Arena this season, surpassing Wilson's single-season home record of 26 points in 2008-09. He's the first BU player to score three overtime goals in one season and became the first BU freshman with at least 50 points since Tony Amonte had 58 in 1989-90.
