SUNRISE, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Lightning are back on the road Sunday when they will look to continue their dominance against the Florida Panthers.

The Lightning will play on the road for the sixth time in seven games before beginning a stretch of nine home games out of their next 11.

Tampa Bay has won the past five games against Florida, including a 3-2 overtime victory in the 2014-15 season opener.

The Lightning's three goals that night came on the power play, including defenseman Victor Hedman's game-winner 1:11 into the extra period.

Erik Gudbranson and Jonathan Huberdeau scored for the Panthers.

Ben Bishop made 19 saves for the Lightning while improving to 5-0-0 with a 1.89 goals-against average in five career games against the Panthers.

Tampa Bay is coming off a 4-0 shutout victory against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday in its first home game following a five-game road trip.

Bishop made 28 saves for his second shutout of the season, and Steven Stamkos scored his 33rd and 34th goals of the season.

Stamkos has four goals in the Lightning's past three wins and has scored six in his past seven games. He has 15 goals and eight assists in his past 14 games against Florida.

Forward Valtteri Filppula has a team-best nine points (three goals, six assists) in Tampa Bay's five-game winning streak in the series.

Tampa Bay (38-19-6), the NHL's highest-scoring team at 3.25 goals per game, is one point ahead of the third-place Detroit Red Wings in the Atlantic Division but trails the Montreal Canadiens by five.

The Panthers will be on the back end of a back-to-back set after ending a four-game losing streak (0-3-1) with a 5-3 victory against the Buffalo Sabres at BB&T Center on Saturday.

Jaromir Jagr was held without a point in his Panthers debut, but he was on the ice for Brandon Pirri's two power-play goals in the second period.

Pirri returned to action after missing nine games with an upper-body injury, and scored his seventh and eighth goals in his past 10 games.

Goalie Roberto Luongo, who faced only 14 shots against Buffalo, started the opener against Tampa Bay but will give way to Al Montoya on Sunday.

"We're going to follow the schedule," Panthers coach Gerard Gallant said. "We want guys being fresh. [Montoya] has done a good job and he's got a big game [Sunday]."

Florida (27-22-13) is four points behind the Boston Bruins for the second Eastern Conference wild-card spot into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
