Fantasy Spin: Kings' Williams would be nice addition

Despite a 4-2 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, there's no denying that the defending champion Los Angeles Kings are struggling and in danger of qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. But that doesn't mean there aren't some Kings players you likely can find available to help your fantasy team.

Justin Williams
Right Wing - LAK
GOALS: 15 | ASST: 12 | PTS: 27
SOG: 118 | +/-: 3
Justin Williams (42 percent owned in Yahoo leagues, RW) plays on the third line, but had two goals in a very effective 12:27 of ice time. Williams had gone seven games without scoring a point, but has multiple points his five of the past eight games in which he has scored. He has 15 goals, 10 power-play points and 118 shots on goal.

Tyler Toffoli (50 percent owned, RW), who had six goals in his first 11 games before a dry spell, had a goal on five shots on Saturday and has 14 goals and a plus-15 rating.

- Nashville Predators forward Colin Wilson (15 percent owned, C, LW) left a 3-2 win against the New York Rangers after sustaining an upper-body injury in the first period. He did not return and is listed as day-to-day. Wilson, who has set career-highs in goals and points, skated with Mike Fisher and James Neal. Nashville used a combination of forwards including Taylor Beck, Eric Nystrom and Calle Jarnkrok in his place.

- Montreal Canadiens forward David Desharnais (10 percent owned, C) had three assists in a 6-2 win against the New Jersey Devils. He had 18:54 of ice time (including 2:31 on the power play) and has points in three straight games (one goal, five assists). Desharnais played on the top line with Max Pacioretty and Dale Weise.

- Buffalo Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons (8 percent owned, C, LW) had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win against the Dallas Stars. He has points in three of his past five games. If you can get past the fact that he is a minus-15, he's a solid scoring option (14 goals) who has taken 99 shots. Chris Stewart (8 percent owned, RW) had another fine game with three assists and continued his torrid scoring pace (16 points in 20 games)

- Tomas Tatar of the Detroit Red Wings is owned in 67 percent of leagues. The left wing leads his team with 23 goals and has 39 points. He had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against the Arizona Coyotes. Tatar is a plus-8, has seven power-play points and six game-winning goals.
