Forwards Brandon Pirri and Vincent Trocheck return to the Florida Panthers lineup Monday as they face the Vancouver Canucks at BB&T Center, according to the Miami Herald.
Pirri, 23, has been in and out of the lineup this season, playing once since Jan. 4. He has three goals and an assist in 19 games after scoring 13 goals and 25 points last season in 49 games split between the Panthers and Chicago Blackhawks.
Trocheck, 21, has also been a healthy scratch of late. He has four goals and 13 points in 27 games.
Forwards Scottie Upshall and Sean Bergenheim will be the players coming out of the lineup, the Herald reported.
Goalie Roberto Luongo is expected to start for the Panthers, four points behind the Boston Bruins for the second Eastern Conference wild-card spot for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Florida has lost three in a row (0-2-1).
Luongo would be facing his former team for the second time in 12 days. He made 32 saves in his return to Vancouver on Jan. 8 in a 3-1 win for the Panthers. Forward Jonathan Huberdeau scored twice.
Goalie Ryan Miller looks to extend his shutout streak for the Canucks. Miller had shutouts on consecutive days last week against the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes after missing three games with the flu.
Miller has gone 143 minutes and 17 seconds without allowing a goal. His personal record is 161:35 for the Buffalo Sabres during the 2010-11 season.
