At the Rink: Jets at Ducks

The Winnipeg Jets and Anaheim Ducks were not expected to skate before they played Sunday at Honda Center.

It will be an emotional night for Anaheim, which will retire Teemu Selanne's No. 8 jersey in a pregame ceremony set to start at 4:15 p.m. PT. The Ducks must balance a lengthy ceremony with preparing for a game.

"Mentally, you have to stick with it," Ducks left wing Andrew Cogliano told the Ducks website Saturday. "You have to prepare differently because it's just a different day. There's different things going on. Your schedule's a little off, and you have to find a way to get ready for the game … it will be a challenge."

Winnipeg defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 5-4, in a shootout Saturday after it squandered a 3-0 lead in the first period and tied it 4-4 late in the third. The last time the Jets won a game that they gave up a three-goal lead was Oct.27, 2011, a 9-8 win against the Philadelphia Flyers, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

The Jets returned left wing Evander Kane, and defensemen Toby Enstrom and Mark Stuart from injury, and coach Paul Maurice said it was defenseman Zach Bogosian's first real game back from injury.

Here are the projected lineups:
