Giroux did not skate in warm-ups despite Flyers coach Craig Berube saying Giroux would be a game-time decision after deciding how he feels in warm-ups.
Scott Laughton also is out of the lineup with an undisclosed injury, leaving the Flyers with 11 healthy forwards. Luke Schenn, who was scratched the past two games, will go into the lineup as the seventh defensemen.
Giroux is tied for third in the NHL with 43 points in 38 games this season. He played in 168 consecutive games since sitting out the 2011-12 regular-season finale on April 7, 2012.
