Jagr started the game on a line with Dainius Zubrus and Patrik Elias, who is also back in the lineup after missing the game Thursday with a groin injury.
Jagr, who was categorized as a game-time decision by coach Peter DeBoer after the morning skate, hasn't played since he left the game Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 17:57 of the second period after getting hit by Robert Bortuzzo.
The Devils lost 1-0 to the Penguins. Bortuzzo was suspended two games for interference.
Jagr is tied with center Adam Henrique for the Devils lead in points with 15.
